My name is Youri van der Arend, a fineliner drawing artist from the Netherlands focused on different techniques and sceneries, available as original drawings or as art prints (in different formats) and postcards. All my work is handdrawn and authentic.

This is my most detailed handdrawn fineliner artwork I made yet. It took me around nine and a half hours to finish.
Three giraffes with gigantism reach high above the clouds, with also a swallow bird flying at this height. With this artwork I want to display the emotion of escapism in the modern world, escaping conflicts and environmental disasters around us. High above the clouds these animals live in their own safe and peaceful world.
